the romantic bride #39

You’ll adore these wedding photographs from Aaron and Kayla’s big day. A couple who first met in high school, their wedding day was full of the romance and emotion that you’d expect from high school sweethearts.

The dramatic church setting could be something out of a movie and we adore these photographs, that truly show how many people wanted to celebrate the marriage of this couple!

As is quite clear, their wedding day was sunny and gorgeous! The field you see pictured they stumbled across by accident nearby the church. It’s worth doing a little scout around your wedding venues (ceremony and reception) to see whether you can spot any places that would make great backdrops for wedding portraits. Places like fields, woodland, deserted train tracks or even buildings with awesome graffiti art. It makes for more interesting shots, which you’ll treasure far more!

The bride herself is so skilled that the wedding flower bouquets and dessert table (which you can see below) she actually made herself. And here’s another lovely fact about this wedding day: the dress you can see Kayla wearing was actually her second choice. She had originally bought a different bridal gown, but then fell in love with this one and it suited her vintage and romantic style so perfectly that she decided to switch! For styles like hers, look here!

The wonderful photography here was taken by Kristy Berends Wedding Photography. You can find more of her gorgeous work on her website!
