The surfer bride #17

Julien and Christine met 3 years ago and got married 2nd of July in Barneville-Carteret, a lovely village of Normandy Coast, France. If you’ve ever been to this part of France you’ll know how beautiful the landscape is and how wonderful the culture is. It was this couples passion for travelling, campervans and surfing gave that gave them lots of ideas about their perfect wedding day and inspired them to plan a fun, colourful and energetic ceremony and reception!

We adore the cute, red spotty theme and we think every part of this weddings theme is perfectly tied together: even down the the grooms bow tie! The brides dress is simple and elegant (we found a similar one here), the grooms suit is simple and smart and her bridesmaids were matching (but not quite) which you’ll understand in a second when you see the photograph of them! We do actually love the “non matching” bridesmaids trend which is happening at the moment, it means your special ladies get to wear a dress which suits them and their body shape – which probably means they’ll enjoy the day a whole lot more too.

The couple were married in a 17th century castle,and then enjoyed a big wedding photoshoot on the beach with family and friends afterwards. But the most lovely photos of the day are still to come. As we mentioned, this cute french couple are big surfing fans and no surfer is complete without a VW Camper Van.
